NTI USE AND HOMECARE INSTRUCTIONS
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Wear your NTI-tss appliance only as indicated by your dentist. Your appliance should have a snug fit. Bring your NTI to all routine dental appointments so it can be examined and cleaned. Please contact your dental office if you have any questions about your NTI-tss appliance.
DISCONTINUE USE IF
- The appliance can be removed without using your hands
- You sense any movement when your NTI is in your mouth
- Your appliance should chip or crack
- You see any unusual wear such as a sharp edge, point or groove
If the above should occur STOP WEARING YOUR APPLIANCE AND CONTACT YOUR DENTIST.
DO NOT
Do not attempt to wear your appliance while eating or drinking. NEVER insert or remove your NTI-tss while lying on your back. Only insert and remove while sitting or standing upright.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Your NTI is non-porous and therefore will not absorb stains and odors. To clean your appliance, simply run it under warm water (using no toothpaste) after each use. DO NOT use alcohol or alcohol-based products for soaking or cleaning (Many mouthwashes contain alcohol, so please read the labels carefully). NEVER boil your appliance. Use the glow in the dark case provided to store your splint, wet or dry.
