Meet the Doctor

Dental care is a personal issue. At Northville Family Dentistry we aspire to create trust and confidence by delivering exceptional dental care in a comfortable modern setting.

After attending the University of Michigan for undergraduate studies with an emphasis in Biology from 1988-92, I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1996.  In the twenty-five plus years since, I have honed my skills in all aspects of general dentistry with advanced training in endodontics (root canals), orthodontics, and esthetic dentistry.  My memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society, and the Northville Chamber of Commerce.  I have been selected by the Consumer’s Research Council of America as one of “America’s Top Dentists,” and been recognized by my peers as a “Top Dentist” in Detroit Hour magazine for many years.

My wife, Michelle, and I are blessed with two lovely daughters, Lauren and Alexis.  You will see their pictures throughout the office.  I grew up in Dayton, Ohio (but not a Buckeye) and we live here in Northville.  We are members of St. James Catholic Church (long time CYO girls basketball coach on the side) and we love all parts of living in Michigan (except snow in April). 

Recently, we completed our third major expansion and renovation of the practice.  Each operatory creates a warm, spacious feel for patients.  We installed state of the art equipment to match our peerless facility without forgetting the importance of a personal touch.  Through the latest advances in digital dentistry, we can prepare, fabricate, and deliver your crowns all in the same day to minimize discomfort and maximize convenience.

We are open Monday through Friday with evening appointments.  We offer nitrous oxide sedation, and we excel in all types of dentistry including metal free crowns, implant restorations, root canals, bridges, veneers, white fillings, extractions, dentures, bonding, and comprehensive periodontal (gum) care.  Northville Family Dentistry creates a full-service, personal touch dental care experience.  We are your oral health advocates.  Welcome!

A West Michigan native, I attended the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor for my undergraduate studies, and then continued on to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, graduating in 2021. I am a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Since graduation, I have had the opportunity to expand and sharpen my clinical skills as a general dentist, working full-time at a large practice in the East Detroit community.

My husband and I have resided in the metro-Detroit area since 2016. We have one daughter who we adore, and will talk about ceaselessly to anyone who will listen. We’ve attended Ward Church in Northville for several years now, and we look forward to planting more roots in the Northville community soon.

When my patients ask me why I enjoy being a dentist, I explain how every tooth that I treat is intimately attached to a human being, and that building a personal and trusting relationship with my patients is the most rewarding part of my job. I look forward to meeting you!
